we tried tonight...but after he had spent 20 minutes exchanging business cards and pleasantries with a gentleman fron Harrogate's Chamber of commerce, we tried to ask him some questions...where upon he turned his back on us and said he had other people to talk to. Either scared or he didnt know the answers...but either way an extremely rude little man.
What a good politican Max would make. I met him at the exhibition on Saturday and he didn't seem to answer anyones questions. I also heard him get excited about the arrival of a wealthy property developer from Masham and he turned into some eager lap dog. Anyway i went to ask the man from the highways department some questions and it transpired that he didn't work for the local authority or Highways Agency as implied but a private highways consultancy firm employed by Tescos. I might give Max a call at work tomorrow to see if he has found out any answers to my questions yet.
